Jennifer, 14, lived in the hands of the LRA for five years. She is haunted by nightmares - the people whom she killed reappear to her. Initially, after of her abduction, she worked as a housemaid for rebel leader Joseph Kony. When she was 11 years old she was handed a gun and trained to fight. During the fights against the government troops she suffered many gunshot wounds. She has described how she and other girls were raped by one of the rebel soldiers. She fears she is HIV positive. Because she is a girl, her father has the power to make future decisions for her. She blames him for her abduction and threatens to run away should she have to go back to him.
